Sigma 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 DG II HSM Lens Review

One way to create differentiating photographs is to use an extreme lens.
While the Sigma 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 DG II HSM Lens’ max apertures are not close to being considered extreme, its incredibly wide full-frame focal lengths are.
No other full frame compatible lens offers a rectilinear focal length this wide.
The 12mm focal length provides an extreme angle of view while the overall 12-24mm range proves very useful.
In addition, this is a nicely-designed lens that delivers very good image quality. read more

Sigma 12-24mm f/4 DG HSM Art Lens Review

One way to create differentiating photographs is to use an extreme lens.
The ultra-wide angle Sigma 12-24mm f/4 DG HSM Art Lens fits that definition, providing extreme wide angles of view rivaled by few other rectilinear (non-fisheye) lenses.
These wide angles of view take in vast scenes and can provide a very unique perspective on the world, especially with a close subject. read more

Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM Lens Review

The Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM Lens is a very good quality ultra-wide angle lens with a feature that everyone can love – a relatively affordable price tag.
I highly recommend that APS-C sensor format body owners include a 10-20mm (or similar) focal length lens in their kit as such a lens is extremely useful.
And the Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 could be a good choice to fill your UWA lens slot in your kit. read more

Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 EX DC HSM Lens Review

The well-built Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 EX DC HSM Lens, at review time, is one of only a few lenses in the ultra-wide angle APS-C lens class to have a fixed maximum aperture.
While f/3.5 is not what I typically consider wide/fast, the fixed maximum aperture allows a constant wide open aperture exposure setting
to be maintained over the full focal length range of the lens.
And the ultra-wide angle focal length range is very useful – I recommend a lens from this class to be part of all APS-C (1.6x) DSLR camera kits. read more

Sigma 8-16mm f/4.5-5.6 DC HSM Lens Review

The Sigma 8-16mm f/4.5-5.6 DC HSM Lens delivers very good image quality, has solid build quality, has fast and quiet HSM AF and has a reasonable price.
But perhaps the most exceptional Sigma 8-16 feature is the ultra wide angle range of focal length range available – including the widest focal length
available in any current-at-review-time rectilinear (not fisheye) lens.
